I decided to put up a page dedicated to the Wrens after Rose Chidwick made an entry in my log looking for former shipmates. Maisie Dalzell, who contributed to Maise's Scrapbook plus other pages, had these newpaper items from the Toronto Star from the 1950's to get it started. If any former Wrens have anything they would like to submit, please send them along..

E-mail from PO2 Wayne Warford

I have been trying to find some information on several Wrens who served with the Stadacona Band during the Summer of 1945. I have attached a couple of pics of them. If you would include them on your Wrens Page perhaps one of your visitors will recognize them and hopefully provide some info. Also, I'm looking for ex-crew of HMCS Quebec, from around 1952 to '55, who might have some pics of the Ship's Band. PO1 Vlaho Miloslavich was the Bandmaster on QUEBEC during the early 50's. I'm hoping someone out there will have some pictures of the Band and P1 Miloslavich.

Cheers,

PO2 Wayne Warford.. Stadacona Band.. http://www.stadband.ca

Rose was  stationed in Cornwallis from Sept 58 to Oct 58, then to Key West Florida for 8 weeks at the Fleet Sonar School. Rose is hoping to hear from Wrens she served with. The following photos are from Cornwallis and Key West.
